I recently contacted Peninsula Garage Doors as I was replacing my garage door opener. I had been told by a few people that it’s best to have your door balanced periodically and prior to installing a new opener. Turns out that they were correct. I called Peninsula Garage doors. It was mid week and the rep who took my call was very professional, knowledgeable and assisted me with ensuring that a technician would be sent out by end of the week. Appointment made. Turns out that I forgot about the time booked and was cutting my grass at the time the technician showed up. Now I’ve unfortunately been in this situation before where I get side tracked and am not always ready or waiting for whomever is to show up and repair something. I was pleased that the technician drove around to where I was cutting my side yard which is fenced with an 8ft high wooden fence. The point being is that the technician didn’t need to take their time and go above and beyond by locating me and asking if I was the owner of the house. He was kind patient and professional the entire time from start to finish and balanced the door’s perfectly. I noticed a great improvement as soon as the opener i wasn’t replacing was activated. All in all I’m very pleased with Peninsula Garage doors. Their customer service was/is impeccable detailed informative and friendly. The technician was on time, went above and beyond his obligation and did a fantastic job. He was careful, worked safely and provided feedback to any inquiry I had with respects to my doors, springs, openers etc.. I would strongly recommend using Peninsula Garage Doors as they’ve been around for many years, are experienced professionals and treat customers with respect and a level of quality care which is a rarity in most businesses today. Thank you to all the staff at Peninsula Garage Doors. Your pride in workmanship and customer service are exceptional and it clearly shows. Everyone at Peninsula, from the office to technicians, we're extremely patient and accomodating throughout the door replacement process. Had 4 doors put in 2-10x10, 2-20x10, noticed one of the smaller doors had a bit of a bind after a couple months. But they sent a tech out to fix it under warranty and everything has been good since. Good service team and product.
